Toronto police have launched a homicide investigation after a man was fatally stabbed at a residence in the city’s east end.
Officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Whitley Castle Crescent, near Finch Avenue East and McCowan Road, around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a man with serious injuries who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed the victim’s 32-year-old son was arrested at the location, though charges have yet to be announced.
Authorities have not disclosed any details about what may have led to the stabbing as investigations by the homicide unit continue.
